Profile Overview -
This is Global Finance India team that provides Financial Control and Business Reporting services to support various asset classes such as Equities, Futures & Options, Rates, Credit Trading, Currencies & Commodities, Exotics and Fixed Income products. This role is a within the Financial Control team and is supporting the Banking business.
Key Responsibilities include the following
Daily reconciliation of the general ledger to the risk management systems on a timely basis to ensure completeness, accuracy.
Investigation, monitoring and resolution of reconciliation break between the risk management system, back office and the general ledger. This will include liaising with multiple groups across JP Morgan and will include Finance, P&L, Operations located in multiple locations. Monthly closing of the books, including passing supportable adjustments, with the corporate reporting deadlines
Monthly reconciliation and substantiation of the general ledger balances (GLRS) in accordance with Investment Bank policy. Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Product Controllers
